A Champion’s Victory: Healed by His Grace "Praise the Lord! I am alive today simply because of God’s grace. Last year was a season of intense trials for my family. First, my son fell through a window and suffered a severe head injury, but God miraculously saw him through. Shortly after that, in August, I was diagnosed with cancer. But instead of accepting defeat, I stood firm in my faith. I told the enemy, 'I do not have cancer. I cannot be a carrier of cancer because Jesus has already borne my sicknesses.' The doctors told me I needed to undergo chemotherapy. That September, I came to church and spoke with the Bishop. He gathered all the ministers in his office, and they surrounded me in prayer. The Bishop encouraged me to proceed with the chemotherapy, assuring me that everything was going to be okay. I held onto that word. Every time I went into the hospital for treatment, whenever I saw the word 'cancer,' I would remind myself that I didn't have it. I even told my doctor boldly, 'My Jesus will heal me!' I prayed over every treatment I received, asking God to let the medicine act as His cleansing blood in my body and protect me from any further complications. I was never alone in this fight. My husband, my sister, and the entire church family stood with me in relentless prayer and fasting. God delivered me! By His grace, I completed my last chemotherapy session on December 27th. On February 24th, I went in for a follow-up CT scan, and the doctor gave me the glorious news: everything was completely clear. During our church anniversary, the Bishop had given me a Champions Temple cup. I took that cup with me to every single treatment. I would look at it and remind myself, 'I am a champion. Champions face difficult tasks, but that just means we get the victory.' Today, God has given me the victory! He gave my husband, my children, and our church the victory. I stand before the church to glorify God and acknowledge His goodness. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me!"
